Mr B. A. Prabhakar, Executive Director, Bank of India, has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Bank.
Mr Prabhakar would assume charge on or before January 1, 2012, and would continue in the post till August 31, 2013, Andhra Bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
